Two Types Of Samosa Chaat Recipe:
Punjabi samosa topped with chana masala which is made from chickpeas. This type is more well-known here. You’ll discover it in many places in India too.
Ingredients:
1 bunch Instant Pot chana masala, Or your choice of chole recipe made with 1 cup dried chickpeas
8 Punjabi samosa, large size
1 cup Green chutney
1 ½ cups Meethi chutney (Tamarind date chutney)
1 cup Plain yogurt, Whisked until smooth with salt added
1 cup Nylon sev
1 cup Red onion, finely chopped
¼ cup Cilantro or coriander leaves, finely chopped
2 tablespoon Chaat masala
1 tablespoon Red chili powder
½ cup Pomegranate arils, if using

6 Main Elements:
- Samosa: The primary element of this chaat. You can make samosa at home. Or use the store-bought one like me. I have used haldiram frozen Punjabi samosa and air-fried them until crisp.
The alternate route of using store-bought samosa is perfect for parties or get-to-gathers. - Chana masala: I have this Moment pot chana masala here. You can utilize your favorite chole or chana masala recipe.
- Green chutney: It is made from cilantro (in some cases mint is also included), green chilies, lemon juice, etc. It adds a refreshing flavor with a spicy taste. I continuously prefer to make green chutney at home as store-bought ones don’t taste new and sometimes it has green food color in them.
- Tamarind date chutney: This sweet and sour chutney is also called meethi chutney. If you have time make it at home otherwise use store bought one.
- Sev: Nylon sev is used here and I prefer the Surti brand of sev.
- Yogurt: Plain yogurt is utilized here. A pinch of salt is included and whisked until smooth.
Toppings:
- Onion: It includes a fresh component with a crunchy texture.
- Chaat masala & red chili powder: Both include a pleasant flavor and a few spices. If you don’t mind do not skip it.
- Cilantro: It includes a fresh, herby component. A must-fix here.
- Optional: If you like you can include chopped tomatoes and some pomegranate arils.
