Masala idli recipe – Fast and Simple recipe utilizing extra idlis. The delicious masala is made from onion, capsicum, and tomatoes with the flavor of pav bhaji masala. This masala is coated with the idli pieces. The Culminate way to utilize remaining refrigerated idlis.

Whenever we make idli, it is sure that we will have a few remains. This is genuine in my case. I make many others utilizing idlis (like idli fry) but for sure this one is our favorite.
The method for making masala idli and taste are nearly comparable to the tawa pulao.
Ingredients:
6 no. Idli, regular medium-sized
2 tablespoons Oil
½ container Red onion, finely chopped
½ cup Capsicum (Green bell pepper)
1 teaspoon Garlic paste or freshly grated
1 Green chili, finely chopped or paste
¾ container Tomato, finely chopped
Salt, to taste
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
½ teaspoon Red chili powder
1 teaspoon Pav bhaji masala
2 tablespoons Water
½ teaspoon Lemon juice
2 tablespoons Cilantro or coriander leaves, chopped finely
Step By Step Instructions:
1) First cut each idli into 9 pieces and keep it aside. Moreover, prep the rest ingredients.
2) Warm the oil in a pan on medium heat. Once hot add chopped onion and capsicum. Sprinkle salt over it to speed up the cooking process.

3) Blend well and let it cook. Do mix in between.
4) Let them cook till the onion becomes soft and light pink in color.

5) Now include green chili and garlic paste.
6) Blend and saute for 30 seconds or till the raw smell of garlic goes away.

7) Include tomatoes.
8) Mix well and continue cooking.

9) As it gets cooked, it will be delicate. That time squash them utilizing a spatula and make them pulpy.
10) Include 2 tablespoons of water and mix.

11) Include remaining salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and pav bhaji masala.
12) Mix well and cook for a minute.

13) Now include chopped idlis.
14) Blend properly so the masala is coated to each and every piece.

15) In conclusion crush the lemon juice and include chopped coriander leaves.
16) Mix well and serve.
